Lau & Lau is also proud of its community service. That commitment began with founder Donald Lau, who was involved with the YMCA, Boy Scouts, Salvation Army and his church. His son, David, continued that dedication. He served on boards of the Judson Center Presbyterian Villages, the Detroit Athletic Club and Alma College, and held positions of responsibility in the Rotary Club of Detroit and the Detroit Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Jonathan, Donald’s grandson, is equally devoted to helping the community. Lau & Lau currently supports Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars, CRU, other worthwhile organizations, and events that seek to better the lives of those in the community.
